Our beloved matriarch passed away on January 16, 2022. She was a devoted buddhist. We chose Chun Fook Funeral Group to hold her services. Humbert Yeung and Sammy Kwan helped us with the details of planning all of the arrangements from beginning to end. Since our family was not familiar with many of the buddhist rituals, we were able to rest assured that the Chun Fook staff guided us as needed. The funeral procession was lead by the expert drivers who ensured we reached the cemetery safely, after the blizzard we recently had. We cannot thank the Chun Fook staff enough as this was all taken care of right before the start of the Chinese New Year. These men and women have worked tirelessly during the last two years of covid, 7 days a week to help many families who have lost loved ones. Thank you Chun Fook Funeral Group for ALWAYS being professional, kind, understanding and most of all patient.

Chun Fook did a professional job with the services for the loss of our family member. Mr Jacky Yuen was communicative and provided excellent service in the entire process. Our mother looked great and all traditional Chinese customs were observed and performed as we requested. The administrative backend paperwork took some time but was all completed in about a month after the funeral. Now we just have to see how the tombstone will be installed. Chun Fook provided a one-stop shop for all services including the flowers and guests sign-in book without us thinking about the details as we were in mourning. Thank you.

Our dearly beloved mother passed away on March 17, 2021. We chose Chun Fook Funeral Group to hold her funeral. My father and I met with Sammy Kwan, one of the funeral directors. Upon meeting him, Mr. Kwan was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. He expressed his condolences for our loss and took the time to go through each step of the planning process with my father and I. Mr. Kwan did not rush or pressure us into choosing anything that we did not want included in my mother's funeral. On the day of the funeral, Jacky Yuen helped guide our immediate family in what would be happening throughout the viewing: from safety precautions being taken due to covid, where to stand when greeting our guests and letting us know when it would be time to deliver mom's eulogy. Jacky made himself available if any of us had questions for him. When it came time to head to the cemetery for the burial, Sammy Kwan and his two colleagues lead our entire family safely and efficiently to the burial site. They were very patient with us allowed us time to say our final farewells. They took great attention to detail to ensure that mom's casket was correctly placed into her spot. I would highly recommend any families or friends who are looking for a place to help them take care of final arrangements for a loved one. Chun Fook is a very clean and beautiful facility. The staff did an amazing job with making our mother look beautiful. You can tell that they really take pride in the work they do based on the details included. The funeral director Mr. Humbert Yeung was caring and considerate. He gave detailed information on what we needed to do and stayed in constant contact with us via text and phone. We had an issue with obtaining an electronic death certificate from my father’s primary care physician and Humbert went above and beyond to help us through this stressful situation and walk the doctor through the electronic filing process to ensure that the burial would proceed as planned. He answered all our questions respectfully and in a timely manner and his entire staff at the funeral home and cemetery were professional and respectful. Humbert’s attention to detail made the process seem seamless and he gave us a wide selection of price ranges for the wake and funeral so that my family felt we had different options. He even asked for a recent photo of my father to ensure that the embalmer/makeup artist made my father look natural and as if he was sleeping and at peace. Humbert was very thoughtful and arranged for a tent to be placed up right before the cemetery service since it started to rain heavily and he didn’t want my elderly mother and other family members to get wet. The wake was limited due to the COVID-19 situation, but Mr. Humbert Yeung ensured that we had a beautiful service to pay respects to my father. We are truly grateful to Chun Fook Funeral Services for their caring demeanor and excellent service.

Both my grandparents passed away within a span of 2 months from one another. During the peak of covid-19, my grandfather passed away and Ng Fook did a PHENOMENAL job of preparing the arrangements for us over the phone. My grandmother passed away recently and we used Ng Fook again. I worked with Alex Lee who exceeded my expectations. He was very patient and worked with our family during this difficult time. I was never made to feel pressured to purchase any services which wasn't needed. Alex Lee was very professional and always returned my phone calls to answer any and all my questions. As odd as it sounds, I would use them again in the future and HIGHLY recommend them to my family and friends. On behalf of my entire family, thank you Ng Fook staff.

The unexpected happened my mom passed away. Everyone is asking what happened, they all say they just saw her no problems. This just shows you anything can go terribly wrong. Now I'm lost as to what I'm suppose to do. Luckily an uncle highly recommended Joe Yee. Let me tell you he is the best. I did not know what to do and he was able to provide the guidance and support. I needed to know everything will be taken care of. Joe and his team took care of everything and was very patient with answering any questions I had. Me being so indecisive he was able to make recommendations as to what is most appropriate & customary. Pricing was very upfront & reasonable, no high pressure sales tactics. He will work with you to keep within budget. At a delicate time like this the last thing you should worry about is being cheated by a funeral home. I can't thank Joe & his team enough for their great service. I don't wish for anyone to need his services, but if the unfortunate circumstance arises Joe is your guy.

Thank you Ng Fook Funeral Services. Your firm did an outstanding job taking care of all details for my Father's services and making the entire experience stress free. My Father passed away of natural causes at home, age 96. This added some complexity as NYPD had to be involved since he did not pass away at a hospital. Ng Fook was contacted in the middle of the night to retrieve my Father's body and was in contact with NYPD immediately to get his body released to them. Weber and Wilson took care of all details for the funeral including contacting the US Army Post as my Father was a WW2 veteran and getting an Honor Guard to be present at the ceremony as well as coordinating and making all preparations with the cemetery. They got me extra death certificates as I requested, took care of the tribute photo, flower arrangements and catered food. During the services, they provided guidance to both me and my wife who is non-Asian of the Chinese custom and allowed me to conduct a 50/50 Chinese and Western service. They have the background music for Buddhist, Chinese and Western on their audio system. Their facilities are updated, spacious and very clean. My relatives complimented on the venue and Ng Fook's efficiency. Cars for the relatives were arranged with them and there was no stress on anyone to get transportation to the cemetery. They listened to our concerns patiently, provided us professional advice and worked diligently to plan, prepare and execute the funeral event.
